Academic Programmes

Kathmandu World School provides learning opportunities across different stages of school education. Its academic structure includes elementary and middle school education, secondary-level studies under the national curriculum, and the Cambridge International A-Level pathway.

At this stage, learning focuses on building literacy, numeracy, communication, curiosity and essential social skills. The school’s approach emphasises age-appropriate learning experiences that encourage children to participate actively, explore ideas and develop confidence.

Middle School

The middle-school years provide a transition towards more independent and analytical learning. Students engage with a broader range of subjects and are encouraged to develop problem-solving skills, explore different perspectives and take greater responsibility for their learning.

The school’s learning philosophy highlights contextual, collaborative and experiential approaches intended to help students connect classroom concepts with real-life situations.

Secondary Education under NEB

Kathmandu World School offers secondary education under Nepal’s national curriculum, including preparation for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) at Grade 10.
