Teaching and Learning Approach

Kavya School follows a technology-integrated and experiential approach to education. Its teaching methodology is organised around the T-W-E model: Tutorial, Workshop and Exposure. The model connects classroom learning with practical activities and opportunities to apply knowledge in real-life situations.

Tutorial: Students receive guidance from teachers through interactive classroom sessions. Digital learning resources are also integrated into lessons to help students understand concepts, revisit topics and practise independently.

Workshop: Practical workshops allow students to experiment, develop projects and apply classroom knowledge. Activities are intended to strengthen creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Exposure: Students are encouraged to learn beyond conventional classroom settings through events, industry interactions, projects and other experiential activities. These experiences help them understand how academic knowledge connects with professional and social environments.

Learning with Two Teachers

One of Kavya School’s distinctive features is its dual-teacher learning model. Students receive direct guidance from classroom teachers while also using the mySecondTeacher platform for digital learning.

Through interactive videos, digital lessons, assignments and practice questions, students can revisit topics and learn at their own pace. The platform supplements classroom instruction and provides additional opportunities for revision and independent study.

Industry Exposure and Skill Development

Kavya School places emphasis on connecting academic learning with practical skills and professional awareness. Its association with Innovate Nepal Group and related organisations provides opportunities for students to explore different industries and understand workplace expectations.

The institution promotes initiatives such as the Entrepreneur’s Point, Innovation Hub and Time for Skill programme. These activities encourage students to develop business ideas, work on practical projects and acquire skills that extend beyond the prescribed academic curriculum.

The school's published programme information also highlights opportunities for industry exposure, career dialogue sessions, professional interactions and internships with organisations associated with ING. Such activities are intended to help students understand career pathways and develop confidence before entering higher education or the workplace.

Facilities and Learning Environment

Kavya School describes its infrastructure as part of its technology-enabled learning environment. Its facilities are designed to support academic activities, practical learning, student interaction and extracurricular engagement.

Facilities and learning spaces highlighted in its institutional materials include:

Computer Laboratory: Supports digital learning and computer-based activities.
Library: Provides resources for academic reading, research and independent learning.
Classrooms: Designed to facilitate interactive teaching and technology-supported lessons.
Innovation and Project Spaces: Encourage experimentation, creativity and practical project development.
Student Lounges and Common Areas: Provide spaces for interaction, collaboration and relaxation.
Café: Offers a social space for students during breaks.
Sports and Recreational Areas: Support physical activities and student engagement beyond academics.

The institution also highlights a full-time study arrangement with teachers available to guide students throughout the school day.

Student Life and Extracurricular Activities

Kavya School considers extracurricular participation an important part of students’ overall development. Alongside academic activities, students are encouraged to participate in cultural programmes, sports, competitions, workshops and other school events.

These activities provide opportunities to develop teamwork, leadership, communication and organisational skills. Students also get opportunities to express their interests, explore their abilities and engage with peers in different learning environments.

Project-based activities, science-related initiatives, cultural events and career-oriented interactions contribute to a student experience that extends beyond regular classroom lessons.

Kavya School invites applications for its Grade XI programmes in Science and Management. Students seeking admission are generally required to meet the academic eligibility criteria prescribed by the National Examination Board and the institution.

The admission process may involve:

Academic Partnership and Institutional Management

Its academic partnership with My Second Teacher supports the integration of digital content and interactive learning resources into the teaching process. The platform provides educational videos, e-learning materials and practice resources aligned with Nepal's school curriculum.
