Pokhara University (PU)

Pokhara University (PU) is a public, autonomous and not-for-profit university established in 1997 under the Pokhara University Act. Located at Dhungepatan in Pokhara, the university was established as part of Nepal’s policy of developing a multi-university system and expanding access to higher education.

Today, PU offers programmes across management, science and technology, health sciences, humanities and social sciences through its constituent, joint constituent and affiliated colleges.

Four Faculties

Pokhara University currently operates through four academic faculties:
